Connecticut Residents Hit Big Lottery Winnings For 3 Days Into the Month
Every month I look at this winners list and think, "when is it my turn?" The only problem is, I need to actually play. I always have the conversation with myself - if I hit the lotto, I'm going to do xyz. Do you ever have that conversation with yourself? I know there are so many things that we want to do in this life, and it's very easy for money to stop us, especially in this economy. Well, with only being 4 days into the month, some Connecticut residents already got lucky.
I took a stroll on the CT Lottery website and was pretty surprised with what I saw. First off, we are only 4 days into the month and it's only showing winners up to yesterday, April 3. There are already a lot of winners that won a lot of money. Lucky them.

It looks like just yesterday, someone became $100,000 richer after playing the Cash 5 game from Julias Market in West Haven. Imagine being 3 days into the month and getting a bonus check of $100,000? Sign me up. There have already been 4 $50,000 winners as well - from New Haven, Cheshire, North Stonington, and Moosup. There are a sprinkle of 10, 15 and 20,000 dollar winners as well. You can see the full list here.
I'm honestly pretty impressed. That's a lot of money with only 3 days of playing lotto so far. Right on the home page, they also show that a winning ticket was sold in Connecticut for the $25,000 a year for life game on April 3. The ticket was purchased from Bedford Street Market in Stamford.
I'm going to keep looking as the month goes on. I'm so happy for these winners. What an exciting way to start a new month. Maybe this will be the month I start to play. That's just what I keep telling myself.
If you don't want to play, we have our own way that you can win some cash. Assault the Vault is happening on i95 right now. Listen for the codes all week day long for your shot at $1,000! You can find all of the information here.
