In order to determine their rankings, Coffeeness analyzed Google Trends search data over the past 12 months to identify seasonal patterns, clear winners, and regional preferences. Hot Chocolate won the top ranking by sweeping the board in states with the coldest climates, while the states with the most apple orchards chose apple cider, and mimosas.

As for our New England and Tri-State area neighbors, New York's most popular festive drink for 2025 is the Amaretto Sour, New Jersey's is the Espresso Martini, Maine and New Hampshire got Apple Cider, Vermont was Hot Chocolate, and the French 75 for Massachusetts.

What is a French 75? I had to look it up too, it's a classic cocktail that dates back to the early 1900's, consisting of gin, champagne, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
