Connecticut Has a New Tesla EV Charging Station Champion

There are over 360 Electric Vehicle charging stations scattered across the State of Connecticut, but there is only one reigning Champion. One single location can now say that they've got the most Tesla Destination Chargers at one location in all of Connecticut, and it's a great place to kill time while you're charging.

According to the Map of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on ct.gov, you will find the highest concentration of EV charging stations in the Greater Hartford area, followed by Westport/Norwalk, New Haven, Waterbury, and Danbury. New London County? Not so much, and Litchfield County is truly no-close-charger-land.

I'm used to seeing charging stations in gas station parking lots, municipal garages, and an occasional town park, but the beautiful Crown Jewel of Connecticut that currently houses the only Tesla full-scale Sales & Delivery Center in all of Connecticut will now be home to the most Tesla charges at one location in all of Connecticut too.

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville has just announced that they've installed 60 brand-new Tesla EV Destination Chargers. The new chargers are compatible with other EV car makers, and they are located inside Level 4 of the Indian Summer Garage, Level 3 of the Riverview Garage, and Level 2 of Mohegan Sun's Winter Garage. The new Tesla chargers will provide roughly 44 miles of range per hour according to Mohegan Sun, and I can't think of a better place to kill a couple of hours while you wait for your level to get out of the yellow and red.
