Connecticut Police Make Huge Bust, Seize Crack, Fentanyl and Pills
On Tuesday, August 27th the Shelton Police Department issued a press release announcing a massive drug bust in Connecticut. Authorities say the target of the investigation was Frederick Chapman.
The presser reads in part:
"On August 27, 2024, following an extensive investigation, members of the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and the Statewide Urban Violence Cooperative Crime Control Task Force—comprising federal agents, Connecticut State Police, Shelton Police, and Bridgeport Police—executed a residential search warrant in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The target of the investigation, Fedrick Chapman was taken into custody by Connecticut State Police Bureau of Special Investigations Detectives. Chapman was charged with multiple firearm and narcotics violations. Due to his inability to meet the bond requirements, he was transported to Bridgeport Correctional Center, where he is currently awaiting arraignment."
Police say they seized the following:
- Thousands of U.S. dollars in cash
- 4,535.9 grams of marijuana
- One (1) illegally possessed stolen firearm, loaded with seven (7) live rounds
- 68.9 grams of fentanyl
- 485 amphetamine pills
- 34.1 grams of crack cocaine
You're not being photographed with Winnie the Pooh bruh! You're literally being arrested for having a metric f--- ton of drugs (allegedly). Let me quote the late Rick James when I say "Cocaine is a hell of a drug!"
