Open Letter to Connecticut Drivers Who Double Park
When I told my colleagues I was going to write an open letter to Connecticut drivers who double-park, each one of them told me to be careful.

Meaning, each and every one of them is aware of how angry this makes me and they don't want me to get in trouble for dropping the F-word in or the S-word or the, well you get it.
Attention Connecticut Drivers Who Double-Park:
You are a problem and your parking behaviors tell everyone what you are about. When you double-park your car, you're letting people know what a trash human you are. People who double-park alter the safe flow of traffic so we know you don't care about the wellbeing of others.
Double-parking also tells us you believe your time is more valuable than everyone else's. I've heard people say, "it was just for a minute" but that time you stole came from someone else's column. Double-parking in the street lets us know you're a narcissist and that you can rationalize just about anything. You took space that was meant for all and made it yours. Finally, it tells us that you think no one has the stones to do anything about it, which is quite the gamble in 2024.
This is what a safe-space society gets us, a bunch of people walking around feeling entitled to everything. Then, the person who gets upset or calls you has "anger issues." Don't be a bum, go find a parking space like everyone else and walk the extra fifteen feet.
Everything I said above applies to people who take two parking spaces in a lot. It most certainly applies to people who drive slowly in the passing lane on the highway and even the people who completely disregard red lights (this has become a thing).
Yes, I have anger issues but I definitely wouldn't be so mad if people would just consider others when they are shoving their way through the world. Holla if ya hear me, pass this on because there are plenty of people who need to read it.
You know who was a serial double-parker? Saddam Hussein.
Feel free to say back off pufball it's not my car!
Watch me get a ticket for double-parking now. If that ever happens it is my wife Erica's fault. Thank God she's good at everything else because she cannot drive to save her life.
