Foxwoods is celebrating their 30th anniversary, and the resort casino just announced a plan to undergo a major expansion and renovation project that will add some fun things for the entire family to do.

First off, they are planning to add an indoor water park, a family entertainment center, and a new hotel. According to NY Post, the casino is teaming up with Great Wolf Lodge, a Wisconsin based theme park that specializes in these type of water parks that will also include hotel accommodations, restaurants, arcades, and of course children's activities.

The expansion and renovation project, which is already in the works will be set to be completed in 2024, and will use the 15 acres of land adjacent to the casino for most of the expansion. They also plan on constructing a new 30,000 square foot, high stakes bingo hall which will allow them to convert the old bingo hall into a 75,000 square foot Expo Center that can host trade shows, sporting events, and also be used for cooperate meetings.

As far as the renovations go, it's basically a top to bottom operation with the Grand Pequot Casino, the Great Cedar Casino, the Fox Tower Casino, the Rainmaker Casino, the Fox Tower, and the Great Cedar Tower all slatted for major renovations. This whole project gives new meaning to their catch phrase, "Meet me at Foxwoods," which will now probably change to "Meet me with your family at Foxwoods."
