Connecticut Animal Controls Seeks Public Help After Person Abandons Dogs Tied to a Pole

How a person can ever just abandon their animals I will never know.

You see these awful posts of people just dumping their animals because they don't want them anymore. They are a part of your family, how can you just leave them somewhere and drive away?

I have a dog who I see as my actual child, so seeing posts like this get my blood boiling. Over the weekend, I saw this heartbreaking post from Manchester Animal Control about two dogs that were abandoned near Cottage Street in Manchester. They were looking to see if anyone had information or knew who the owner was.

First and foremost, those poor dogs just sitting in the rain like that completely breaks my heart. How can you even do that?! These poor pups still looked so sweet even after sitting in the train tied to a pole. As you can see from the post, the public really reacted and felt the same as we all do.

Manchester Animal Control was able to get video footage and spotted a person walking the two dogs before they were abandoned. They are asking that if you have any information or private cameras in the surrounding areas of Spruce Street and Charter Oak Park, to email footage directly to fisherb@machesterct.gov.

Man oh man do I hope these pups get the justice they deserve. I hope they go to a loving family that will take great care of them and love them the way they deserve to be loved.
