Chicken Wing Bars Opening Up at Over 150 Stop & Shop Locations

Chicken wing fans rejoice!

Supermarketnews.com has officially announced that Stop & Shop will be rolling out chicken wing bars across its Northeastern market area. Eventually, 187 locations will add the chicken wing bars in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey through November.

Eight flavors of wings will be featured and will retail for $7.99 a pound. According to grocerydive.com, the wings will be fresh and fried in-store. Some of the flavors offered are boneless buffalo, garlic parmesan, sweet chili, pit boss pork wings, along with seasonal flavors. While you're there, make sure to say "hi" to Marty, the Stop & Shop robot.

A Stop & Shop spokesperson told grocerydive.com that they rolled out some wing bars early in a handful of stores to test the response which they said was "fantastic." You will find their wing bars in the prepared food section and you can help yourself between 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and then from 4 pm to 7 pm daily.
