Is it my imagination or is SNL alumnus Chevy Chase growing angrier in his old age?

According to an article at Lohud.com, actor Chevy Chase claims he was cut off as he traveled I-87 northbound across the new Tappan Zee Bridge. Chevy told the police he was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram which he claims was damaged during the incident.

What's up with Chevy driving an ancient 2015 truck? You would think that an actor of monumental proportions like Mr. Chase would own a new 2018 Mercedes Benz X-class Pickup, but I digress.

Chevy ended up following the driver across the bridge while flashing his lights. They eventually pulled off I-87 near Exit 10 and climbed out of their vehicles where words were exchanged. The target of Chevy's anger was a 22-year-old Long Island man, who according to state police, proceeded to kick Mr. Chase in the shoulder.

He said that Chase was coming at him like he was ready to throw a punch although the police could not confirm that. Chase vehemently denies that he attempted to attack the man. The Long Island dude was charged with second-degree harassment and is due in court on March 5. I'll leave you with one of my favorite scenes from 'Christmas Vacation.'
