Chevy Chase is coming to the Nutmeg State for a special screening of the classic holiday comedy "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." According to a recent press release Chase will be appearing at Foxwood's Resort & Casino on Saturday December 2nd, 2023 for a screening of the film, followed by a special question and answer segment.

"We're gonna have the hap hap happiest Chrsitmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny F-- Kaye!"

The show starts at 8 pm in the Great Cedar Showroom on December 2nd, 2023. Tickets for this event are reasonably priced, ranging from $66-105.You can purchase your tickets now on the Foxwoods website.

Foxwoods reccomends the Grand Pequot Tower for event parking and adds no bags or packpacks will be permitted.

I would go to this in a heartbeat! Watching Christmas Vacation is mandatory in my house around the holidays. The holiday season is not complete unless I get to see Clark Griswold's family fail him over and over again. Of course I am a Dad so that is how I see it, you might have another take.

Kids of all ages can also enjoy a magical Breakfast with Santa at Cedars Steak & Oysters on Saturday, December 2, 9, 16 and Sunday, December 17. Santa will take a break from his busy workshop to snap photos and supply a special holiday menu, including candy canes and gingerbread houses that guests can take home. In addition, Boozy Brunch Hosted by The Grinch will take place at Cedars on Sunday, December 3 and 10, where guests 21 and over will have the chance to raise their spirits – and their glasses – over delicious cocktails and menu items.
 
The holiday season at Foxwoods is also marked by a dazzling array of shows and performances, including renowned jazz musician Kenny G’s Miracles Holiday and Hits Tour (December 2) and an exclusive screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, followed by a Q&A with actor Chevy Chase (December 2). Which Greater-Danbury Town Would be the Best Setting for a Christmas Movie?

Let's make a movie! Even better, let's make a Christmas movie in our area. I've always thought the Greater-Danbury towns would make great settings for holiday films. Our history and architecture lends itself to creating a believable, small-town America vibe. Below are the reasons, I think each town would be good for a Christmas movie, and a potential film we could shoot here.

When this topic came up in our office, my ears perked right up. The question was simple “If Greater Danbury Towns Were Christmas movies, which would they be and why? It’s so simple and yet so complex, it made no sense and gave me a topic to argue with my friends. I was so excited about it, I wrote them down, and this is the list:
