One of the Most Expensive Homes Ever Sold in America Is in Connecticut
Take a tour of the Connecticut mansion that was dubbed to be “America’s Most Expensive Home” in 2014, a year after it was put on the market for $190 Million.
Connecticut's Copper Beach Farm is a private paradise in Greenwich and was rarely seen in the past before Forbes Magazine published information regarding it being placed on the market.
The price came down a few million before it sold (back then we were still in the recession). It ended up selling for $120 Million, which was a bargain seeing as it included two private off shore islands, tennis courts, a huge heated pool with pool house, a solarium, a driveway seemingly as long as a parkway, sprawling gardens maintained by a New York Botanical Gardens horticulturalist, and lots more, according to the DailyMail.
They also reveal that the 12 bedroom, 15,000 square foot mansion sits on a breath taking 50-acre spread. The estate was listed with the world renowned Christie's Realty, according to BusinessInsider.
