This is not a drill! Marine 25 rushed to its first Candlewood Lake rescue.

The call came in from New Milford on Monday, August 26 at 2:45 pm asking for assistance for a man in the water with a broken leg off the shores of Green Island.

According to a story in the Brookfield Patch, with a crew of six, Marine 25 rushed to the location with three boat crew members, a paramedic, and two boat-trained EMT's from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department's Candlewood Company. Company's FB Page
