We're just gonna casually drop in the fact that Frank Sinatra sold the place out? Oh, and there was a casino there in the 1930's? Can you imagine the grime that took place at that casino in the 1930's? I'm adding some new dates to my time machine FOMO list. - Between 1997 and 2008, over $20 million was spent on park upgrades.
- In 1943, Lake Compouncre bought a mini-steam railroad which was built and designed by British actor William Gillette.
I took the family there recently and we had a blast!
Even my wife Erica went on a ride.
