The Big E - otherwise known as the Eastern States Exhibition - is the largest fair on the East coast, and the 4th largest fair overall in the US. The 2025 Big e is happening September 12-28 this year at the fairgrounds just over the CT/Mass border in West Springfield. Just yesterday The Big E updated their site to include a laundry list of the new foods that will be available for your enjoyment, here are a few that caught my stomach's eye.

Sweet and Salty will be selling 'The Crookie" at the 2025 Big E and it's described as a flaky, buttery croissant filled with chocolate chip cookie dough. For those looking for a challenge, White Hut will have a two-foot giant chili-cheese dog for sale, watch out Doogie's, you have some competition. The most interesting beverage that I could find in the announcement was from Big Kahuna's who will have Dr. Pepper Pickle Juice ready to cure your hangover.

I can't wait to try the Lobster Nachos from New England Craft Pub - Kettle chips tossed with buttered lobster, cheddar cheese sauce, and a lobster Newburg drizzle, and I'll also make my way towards Anna's Fried Dough for a Sloopy Dough - a Sloppy Joe sandwich that is served on a fried dough instead of a traditional bun.
