Going out to brunch can easily boost your mood. Am I wrong? There's a lot of places around the greater Danbury area that offer wonderful brunch options and I really need to go and experience a lot of them.

I came across a post on Instagram that really caught my eye. The account @/travelgramwithlaurab posted about some of the best brunch places in Connecticut and the first spot on that list was what she called a hidden gem in Bethel. Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery is located inside of the old Bethel train station and it shows that they really are serious about their food scene.

What instantly caught my eye was the different foods that were presented in the video. It lead me right to their website to check out their menu and wow, I now understand why they are considered a brunch favorite in Connecticut. They have some very unique items on their brunch menu including pancakes with cinnamon drizzle, syrup and macerated blueberries, "crack is whack" sandwich which is scrambled eggs, goat cheese, fig, arugula, and bacon on a bun, smashburgers, crunch wraps, croissantwich and so much more.

This was the original video that caught my eye.

I don't know about you, but it looks like I'll be making my way to Bethel on a Sunday for brunch soon. Broken Symmetry is located at 5 Depot Pl, Bethel. They are open Tuesday through Sunday and their brunch is served every Sunday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. To check out their full menu, you can see it here.

What do they say, "America runs on Dunkin', right?" Well, that's certainly true, but the love for Dunkin' is stronger in some states than others. Connecticut residents, for example, will tell you that the sheer volume of Dunkin' locations here is almost a running joke. While Massachusetts is often seen as the heart of the Dunkin' empire, just how accurate is that? Here is a breakdown of the Top 10 States with the most Dunkin' locations.
