According to American River Wellness, 3016 drivers were asked to name their favorite independent gas station in the U.S., and shocker...two from Connecticut made the list!

One even cracked the top 10: The RoadRunners Gas Station & Convenience Store on 2204 Silas Deane Hwy in Rocky Hill, which landed 7th overall in the United States. The Noble Gas Station in East Lyme, located on 51 Boston Post Road, also made the list at 75th overall, according to American River Wellness. “Grab the picnic basket, Mother — we’re motoring to glory, one bathroom stop at a time!!” Now I know if I'm on the brink of a bathroom emergency, I'll know where the public bathrooms are pristine.
