Unique Cider Mill Highlighted as Best in Connecticut
Ready for fall? It's about to be that time. We're nearing the end of summer, Labor Day is coming rather quickly and do you know what that means? It's time for all of the fall activities.
Connecticut is full of things to do for fall and I can't wait to jump in and experience it all. As much as I love summer, I love fall and all of the activities that come with it. Pumpkin and apple picking, cider mills, corn mazes, you name it.
As I was scrolling through Instagram, I came across a post talking about the best cider mill in Connecticut. I thought this would be important for me to know going into the season, so I wanted to share it with all of you as well. I feel like I haven't branched out and experienced all Connecticut has to offer, so I am going to try and do that this season.
The Instagram user @/chantillysongs made a post highlighting Hogan Cider Mill as the best cider mill in Connecticut. This cider mill has way more to offer than just your average one. You can make a whole experience out of it. There's lawn games, a mini golf course, and there is also a taproom with hard ciders. Wanna make the ciders a little extra special? They offer donuts on top of your beverage. Sounds like the perfect fall treat if you ask me.
I decided to take a look at Hogan Cider Mill's website to see what they were all about. According to their website, they have been open and pressing cider on-site since 1912. They have menus for their slushies and hard ciders and have been locally growing apples to create drinks known as New England staples for generations.
There is so much to offer at this cider mill and the drinks look phenomenal. I will definitely be taking a trip here and you should too. They are open Thursday through Sunday with varying hours and are located at 522 Spielman Highway (Route 4) in Burlington, CT.
If you've been here before, drop your pics. I would love to see them!
