It appears that a manager of a private beach on Mohegan Lake wanted to teach some of its members a lesson.

According to tapinto.net., the manager of a private beach on Mohegan Lake actually locked the fence on beach members who he said were in violation of beach rules. Everything went down on Sunday, July 1 at around 5:45 p.m. when a dispute broke out between the beach manager and some of its members over their use of the beach.

The manager allegedly was angry because he claimed that beach members were allowing their children to swim at the beach without a lifeguard present. The manager then proceeded to take matters into his own hands by changing the lock on the beach gate which locked the beach members inside without a way to leave.

Police report that the members decided to press charges against the beach manager and he was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful imprisonment. The 52-year-old  manager will appear in court on July 24 to answer the charges.
