I started my radio journey way back in 1993 at a station in Kingston (B-94) and throughout the years, I have made stops at stations in Long Island, Philadelphia, and of course here in the Hudson Valley. I worked at 96.1 Kiss FM and WRWD before I was lucky enough to land here at 97.7/97.3 The Wolf. One of the questions I always get asked is, "CJ, how are you so happy and awake in the morning, every morning?" My answer is a simple one. I always said that if I ever get the chance to wake up people here in the Hudson Valley with a radio show, I am going to do it with a smile and do my best to make them laugh as much as possible. I understand that most of the laughs on the show are you laughing at me and not with me, but I’ll take what I can get. When I’m not here at the Wolf playing around, I’m at home playing Dad to four amazing kids. I love sports with baseball (METS) and football (Cowboys) being my favorites. I know, how does someone from New York become a cowboys fan? Well, growing up, my stepdad was a big Steelers fan and I always would cheer for the team that was playing against the Steelers. Back then, the Cowboys and Steelers had a big rivalry, so I always rooted for the Boys and it stuck. If you wake up with the Wakin' Up With CJ + Jess show every day, I just wanted to say thank you for all the support. If you don’t listen, do a brother a favor and give us a try tomorrow or as soon as you can.
