Are Brass Knuckles Illegal in Connecticut? – Everything You Need to Know
Recently I was cruising around "the web" and came across an interesting question, someone asked if it was legal to own brass knuckles in the Nutmeg State.
Are Brass Knuckles Illegal in Connecticut? According to World Population Review:
"Brass knuckles are not illegal in Connecticut; however, it is illegal to carry them concealed. One will need to have either a license or a permit to do so. Failing to adhere to this law will result in a misdemeanor."
What the hell is the point of having them if you can't carry them? Maybe I'll just get brass knuckle tattoos on my hips like a hot girl from the early 2000s. That way if someone tries to attack me, I can flash my tats and distract them before blinding them with the vial of sulfuric acid I keep in my pocket.
There was a recent discussion about the legality of brass knuckles in a thread on the Connecticut Reddit page. Here were some of my favorite comments:
Someone asked why you can't have them and JaKr8 wrote: "Because the brass knuckle Lobby isn't as well funded."
gmattheis: "casting brass isn't too difficult. fun side project."
BabyFarksMcGee: "And yet a tube sock with a D battery in it is totally legal."
JaKr8: "Or a padlock on a short chain. Worked with a guy who was in a 1% Club about a decade ago."
Gooniefarm: "Become a cop, and the states weapons bans no longer apply, and you're allowed to stockpile banned weapons for personal use."
