Actor Shares Behind-the-Scenes Secrets from Lioness: “I Had to Learn How to Cut Vegetables!”

You'll remember David Annable as Lee Dutton from Season 1 of Yellowstone but it's his latest role as Dr. Neal McNamara on "Lioness" that has really sent his star into the stratosphere.

Lioness has been a huge hit for Paramount +, Screen Rant says:

Lioness season 2 debuted on Rotten Tomatoes at an impressive 100%, but the show has gained prominence since. The action-thriller has become a major success on streaming. Premiering in 2023, this Paramount series stars Zoe Saldaña as Joe, the leader of the CIA's Lioness program, which operates with the goal of putting female assets behind enemy lines. Season 1 was a major viewership hit.

We recently had an opportunity to speak with Annable about the role and the show that has audiences glued to their TV's, this was our favorite moment.

Lou: You know what is annoying me about your character Dr. Neal is that he is so measured and understanding, he's always cooking and being supportive, I can't let my wife watch this show. 

David: "Well it's funny my wife is saying the same thing. She's like bull---, you mow the lawn, you cook, she's like what are you putting out there? I'm like, I didn't write it. I literally had to have Taylor (Sheridan) show me how to cut vegetables. I'm like bro, I don't know how to do this, you know I'm not the cook here. So it's great, he's like a well-oiled machine, the actual Dave right here."
