Welcome to the latest edition of the Ace Endico Restaurant Spotlight, where we feature a new list of local restaurants each month to showcase some of the great eateries Connecticut has to offer. This month, we're going to be showcasing some of the best barbecue in greater Danbury.

Let's get started:

1) The Cue Restaurant & Catering

The Cue treats barbecue like a culinary art. As their website explains, "Chef Joseph Yorio has more than 20 years of culinary expertise, catering and cooking from Rhode Island to Manhattan." The kitchen and the 24-foot smoker are both open so diners can see the chefs at work.

2) HooDoo Brown

Their take on Texas outlaw barbecue ranges from BBQ nachos and poutine to fried chicken and cornbread waffles to full-sized pork ribs, cracklin' pork belly, brisket, pastrami, and more. If you have a party of eight to ten, be sure to ask about the Table Breaker!

3) Minas Carne

This Brazilian barbecue restaurant offers a salad bar, rice and beans, and meat flame-roasted on an authentic brick oven charcoal pit. They are open seven days a week!

5) Hog Wild BBQ

As the name implies, they offer BBQ catering and pig roasts with sides including smoked mac and cheese, cornbread, corn on the cob, BBQ baked beans and coleslaw.
