Ace Endico Restaurant Spotlight: Our Favorite Date Night Spots in Greater Danbury
Welcome to the latest edition of the Ace Endico Restaurant Spotlight, where we feature a new list of local restaurants each month to showcase some of the great eateries Connecticut has to offer. This month, in honor of Valentine's Day, we're going to be counting down our top 5 picks for date night experiences in and around greater Danbury. Let's get started:
1) Barberies Black Angus Grill: Those photographs probably speak for themselves, but be sure to check out their weekly specials, too! Making a reservation is as easy as calling 203-826-7406.
2) Del Primo Ristorante & Bar: This classic Italian restaurant serves all your favorites (and probably a few specialties you haven't tried yet.) You'll definitely want to ask about their martini flights. Check out their menus, including the dessert menu and wine list, at delprimobrookfield.com/menus.
3) Le Canard-Enchaine: Chef Jean-Jacques and his staff transport you to Franch with specialties including garlic snails, duck confit, and onion soup. We're also eying the New York strip steak, braised lamb shank, and organic black pepper crusted salmon.
4) Traditions 118: A beautiful atmosphere sets the stage for "an American gourmet with a touch of classic Italian," as Traditions 118 describes the experience it offers diners. Watch their Facebook page for upcoming features and special events.
5) Foundry Kitchen & Tavern: The Foundry Kitchen & Tavern pairs an upscale pub feel with excellent customer service and fresh, unique food. Might we suggest the Northshore garlic shrimp or the Miso braised salmon?
Special Bonus: After a date night dinner, show off your dance moves (or learn how) at Vitti's Dance Studio with a Ballroom & Latin Valentine Social with DJ Antonio Rosa!
