I've seen two of the biggest birds found in Connecticut since I've moved to Torrington. A Bald Eagle flew right over my head, and I kept my eyes on two vacationing Great Blue Herons along the Naugatuck River last Summer, but big birds are everywhere during the Summer months. Connecticut's shoreline attracts Sea Hawks, Pelicans, and Herons, while our Northern woods brings the scavengers. Here's something to help you figure out what you just saw.
