Why does my dog watch A&E?

So, I came home today and found my dog, Uncle Frank, watching A&E's Storage Wars. Let me backtrack a bit. My wife leaves a few hours after me, so Frank has to be here alone for a few hours. He is left in the living room until I get home. My wife puts TV on for him, so he is not bored. I don't know why, but I just have not gotten around to ask her why she chooses A&E, or James Franco, but she does. Maybe it's the sensitivity in his eyes that says, "YES, I love Arts and Entertainment!"

He does seem to be calmed by it.

Do I like Storage Wars? Yes, yes I do. Sure, it's fake and stupid, but I like it. Apparently, my dog likes the show too. I've also seen him watching Intervention and Bates Motel. What is it about this dog that connects with the artistic sensibilities of the A&E network?

Who's to say?

Frank loves TV. He loves A&E, and I may be overdue to call the network, and thank them for keeping my dog company while I am away. The shows that he likes, I like too. Undeniably good TV.

Good choice for our pooch, Erica.
