Lou’s List of 12 Things You Need For the Ultimate Memorial Day BBQ

Memorial Day is my second favorite holiday right after the Fourth of July. 

So the question is what are the essentials for the Ultimate Memorial Day BBQ?

The obvious one are:

• Good friends
• Good food...BBQ food.....Ribs, Steak, Burgers, Fries, Dogs.
• Good weather would be great...but that is out of your control.
• Maybe a fire pit.
• A pool if you can get to one.

What about some from the outside of the box thoughts?:

• Instead of a fire pit how about a raging bonfire and some flame throwers just for laughs huh?
• A tank....not only do you display your respect for our military but in case you need to blow something up, you are all set.
• A live band - I'm thinking something like AC/DC.
• Maybe instead of BBQ you bring in live cows and pigs and you have to catch them, kill them and prep them right there on sight.
• Instead of a swimming pool you could potentially set up a boxing ring and pair off and fight one another. The winner gets to stay and party the loser gets chased out into the street and sent home.
• Take all the furniture out of the house and line the floor with mattresses - you know why
• And finally chicks.....namely Megan Fox and Melanie Iglesias.

Now we have a party on our hands!
