‘Truther’ Disrupts ‘Soto 5K’ Claims Sandy Hook Was a Lie

The 'Vicki Soto 5k Race" happened last Saturday, November 7th in honor of the Sandy Hook teacher who was killed protecting her 1st grade students from gunman Adam Lanza.

From an article in the CTPost.com, a self proclaimed "Truther," Matthew Mills, from Brooklyn, NY was charged with interfering with police and second degree breach of peace. The story was that Mills stuck a photo in Vicki's younger sister's face while yelling, that not only did the Sandy Hook tragedy not happen but that Vicki Soto never existed!

Soto's sister Jillian was visibly upset over Mill's action and asked him to get away from her, but Mills wouldn't let up until the police arrived. He then proceeded to run off, but was chased by officers and apprehended on Main St.

Police told the CtPost that Jillian and her younger were so disturbed by Mills's aggressive behavior that they were shaken up and crying. Last year Mills was arrested for sneaking into a pre-Super Bowl press conference.

I'm speculating Mills's behavior is due to some un-named mental disorder, which certainly does not grant him the right to verbally negate the Sandy Hook tragedy and harass individuals who were participating in a fund raiser that honored a teacher who was brutally murdered in that tragedy. I say let him spend one week in prison. He'll remember that week for the rest of his life!

Despite Mills's despicable behavior, the annual Vicki Soto 5K drew 3,000 participants to her hometown of Stratford and raised $100,000 for her memorial fund!
