The NFL Has Chosen Coldplay to be the Halftime Performers

After 50 years of Super Bowl's here we are with Coldplay.

Why is this happening?  I have seen 36 Super Bowl's.  Sure I don't remember the first five but I have seen and remember 30 of them.  The half time show never occurred to me a a factor until maybe the last ten years but here we are.  I matters.

When I think about Super Bowl half time shows I think of Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith.  The only bands that matter in the history of the Super Bowl are those two teams as far as I can remember,

When I heard that Super Bowl 50 would have musical performance from Coldplay I was torn.  I like Coldplay.  I say that knowing that my friends will make fun of me.  They make great sad, beautiful music but it's not fun, masculine or anything to brag about.

The first thing for me that I thought of was GET A CLASSIC ROCK AMERICAN BAND.  Not only is Coldplay British but they are sissies.

Get a band with some guts man. Maybe even a mainstream band that everyone can get behind.  Like:

• Foo Fighters
• Metallica
• Aerosmith
• Pearl Jam

Just let's all stop contributing to the degeneration of music.  It just has to stop. Let's all get behind the two real artists left carrying Rock and Roll on their back like John Henry pounding steel.  Dave Grohl and Jack White can and will be the saviors of Rock n Roll if we let them.  Coldplay can go pound sand.  IT'S SUPER BOWL 50. Do i right!
