The ‘Large’ Musicians That Have Inspired Me

Large musicians can rock hard!

I'm an oversized human being, that's why I call myself Large Dave. I was at the H.O.R.D.E Festival in which Blues Traveler was playing, and this younger kid yelled "Oh my God! John Popper!!!" and excitedly asked for my autograph.

I thought, yeah, I guess I do look like him, and gladly signed his ticket "Cheers! John Popper."

I thought about that the other night while I was watching SNL, and Alabama Shakes impressed the hell out of me. If you haven't heard or seen this group, check this out:

She's a extremely talented performer, and there have been quite a few famously large musicians that rock! Let's start with the "groundbreakers"(huh-huh) The one and only Mama Cass.
