When I heard the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus were back, the first question I asked was, "Will there be lions, tigers, and bears?" After decades of animal advocacy efforts and millions of cruelty complaints, the Ringling Brothers Elephants were sent to their retirement nirvana in 2016 to the 17,000-acre White Oak Animal Sanctuary in Yulee, Florida.

After a 6-year hiatus, 'The Greatest Show On Earth' has been resurrected while launching into their 2023 North American tour driven by music bursting with catchy rhythms, beats, songs, and laughter that will have audiences clapping, tapping, singing, and laughing along.

On the Ringling website, producer Kenneth Feld states, "We're creating something that we believe you won't be able to experience any place else on the planet." 75 performers from 18 countries join together to showcase awe-inspiring acts featuring death-defying aerial acrobatics, world dance, music, comedy, flying trapeze, stunt bikes, and the human rocket. The Greatest Show On Earth is coming to the 10,000 seat Total Mortgage Arena, 600 Main Street, Bridgeport on March 15 - 17, 2024 for six shows. I would suggest you purchase your tickets sooner rather than later by clicking this link. Tickets range in price from $29 to $129 depending how close you would like to be from all the action.
