The Danbury Whalers Pumped For The Playoffs

#83 Ryan Patsch scored with 1:40 remaining in the third period and the Danbury Whalers captured their first ever regular season championship by beating the Dayton Demonz, 3 to 2 on Dayton ice. This places the Whalers back into the Federal Hockey League finals for the third straight season.

This win gives the Whalers a chance to kick back and wait for a winner in the best of three Dayton/Watertown series. If Dayton wins the series, the first playoff game will be on Friday, April 11th at 7:35pm on home ice. If Watertown comes through with the series win, the playoffs kick off against the Privateers on Thursday, April 10th at 7:35pm here in Danbury.
