Two of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time are teaming again up for a couple of stadium shows this Summer - Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks. Unfortunately, Connecticut didn't score a show from the duo, but one of them is coming.

Mohegan Sun has just announced that Stevie Nicks will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 7PM. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 9 at ticketmaster.com, and in-person at the Mohegan Sun box office on Saturday, February 10, if there are any tickets left to purchase.

The last time Stevie Nicks performed in Connecticut was at the 2022 Sound on Sound Festival in Bridgeport, and most of the people that I've spoken to that were there raved about the magical mood that set upon Seaside Park. Nicks performed five songs from Fleetwood Mac that evening - Dreams, Gypsy, Gold Dust Woman, and Rhiannon as her encore. Stevie also performed a few hits from her solo career - If Anyone Falls, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Bella Donna, and Edge of Seventeen.

Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel did a couple of shows together in 2023, billed as 'Two Icons, One Night', and they've announced that they will perform together at Chicago's Soldier Field shortly after Stevie's June 9 show at Mohegan Sun on June 21. Actually, if you happen to be one of the lucky ones with tickets to Billy Joel's sold-out June 8 performance at Madison Square Garden, I'd start anticipating a special guest, who just by chance has an appearance in Connecticut the next night.
