Snowmaggeddon in Waterbury, the Brass City
I know most of Western CT didn't get it so bad ... but
We got hit pretty well in Waterbury. Just about a foot it looks like, and the wind was howling! Thankfully, we didn't lose power, all of the tree work that CL&P has been doing since Hurricane Sandy has genuinely paid off.
I'm slowly seeing cars reappear on the road. But man, it was so nice and quiet for a while. I love the silence a snowfall creates. You can still hear the kids sledding down the hill across the street, but I'll take that sound over revving engines any day.
Stay safe shoveling out!
