UPDATE 1:17PM 5/2/16 - Authorities say the toddler has been found and is safe.

UPDATE 10:15AM 5/2/16 - Police now say the child may be in Ulster County near Kerhonkson.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 4-year-old from Newburgh.

According to a missing persons alert, Steven Lockcuff is approximately 3' tall, 34 lbs, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Steven is reportedly in the company of his mother Tanya Rae Kling and Dennis Terwilliger. Authorities also believed that Steven may be in danger and in need of medical attention.

Authorities indicated early on Monday May 2 that they were in the area of Endicott, New York at 2:30 am. Later that morning, there there was a report that they may have been in Kerhonkson, New York at 10:15am. They may be traveling in either a white Kia (model and registration number unknown) or in a red 1999 Oldsmobile Regency (SC registration number unknown)
