Please Someone Tell me What Dabbing is? [VIDEO]

OK, I gather it is some sort of a dance move. I know I have seen athletes do it, but I don't know what is going on here. I know just asking this question means my street cred will be revoked on the spot, but I'm not sure I care. 

I am willing to accept the fact that I have completely lost touch with what is cool and that is fine. It was bound to happen. They sort of explain it in this video, but I don't even understand the explanation.

Dabbin' is stupid. Not because I don't understand it, but just look at it. Would you just look? I don't know the origin, but I bet it has something to do with a VERY bad song. The older I get, the more I am convinced that going out of your way to avoid whatever is trendy is the coolest thing you can do. I just have to relay that message effectively to my 3 children now. If I see one of them start to twerk or dab in my presence, I can safely say that I will be locking their Kindle's away for a long time and deleting their Minecraft accounts for good. By the way, Minecraft is the biggest scam. They have sold my kids on a retro pixelated video game. Graphics have come a long way since I was a kid. Step your game up Minecraft!
