New Milford social media is buzzing after seeing a photo of New Milford Mayor Pete Bass hanging out with this adorable baby. All of New Milford society wants to know how this baby caught the attention of the Mayor? Folks are wondering if this the Mayor's new advisor? What impact will this baby have on the mill rate in New Milford?

We secured answers to all of these questions when New Milford Mayor Pete Bass joined us on the Wednesday (1/10/24) edition of the I-95 Morning Show.

We asked the Mayor how his New Year has begun and he said: "My holiday was great, I became a grandfather for the first time. So that was great, my grandson it was the first year he was here." 

The Mayor is a lifelong Jets fan and was already was concerned about his grandson's NFL allegiance saying: "I have to make sure, bring him into the Jet fold so to speak."

We asked the Mayor to provide us with his grandson's stats, this is what we were told:

• Name: Kent Henry (Strong American Name)
• Current weight: "Close to about 19lbs now."
• Birth Weight: "About 13 or 14 lbs."
• Build: "Nice and stocky which is awesome."
• Bats: Right
• Throws: Left

Congratulations to Mayor Bass and his entire family, children are such a blessing. I have four kids, they are the reason I exist and no day is complete without seeing their smiles. I know what a happy time this must be for the Mayor and his loved ones.
