Just when you thought you'd heard everything, 49 year old Guillermo Reyes was driving through Mexico City when he gets stopped at a DUI checkpoint.

As the cops were talking with Guillermo, they hear another voice yell, "He's drunk, he's drunk!" So they shine a flashlight inside the car and discover the "other" voice was Guillermo's pet parrot! The parrot was right on the money, because Guillermo failed a sobriety test, which meant he got to spend the night in jail. As it turned out, animal control officers recommended to the police that his pet parrot be allowed to spend the night in the cell with Mr. Reyes. They were concerned the bird might die if they were separated because of the very unique "bond" between the two of them. Hmmmm.....
