We're scheduled for our first slap of winter weather, which means I'll go directly to Steve Turk's Weather, Facebook page. This guy isn't a famous TV meteorologist and his website hasn't been updated since October of 2014, but he is the most accurate indicator of the weather, hands down. Steve's been a science teacher in Westchester for 30 plus years and his passion for the subject and how he relates to his students makes him one of the revered teachers in the state.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8pm Monday night until 11am on Tuesday morning......

Tonight - Expect A snow and sleet mix, possibly 1 to 2 inches, low 29......100% chance of precipitation........(Very Slippery)

Overnight - Changing to all sleet, low 29 to 35......(Slip Sliddin' Away)

Tomorrow(Tuesday) - Towards dawn, a period of icing is possible as the sleet turns to freezing rain, High's around 40, chance or precip is 100%..........(Roads will be like an ice skating rink)

Tuesday Night - A couple of scattered clouds, low 35.......
