Not long ago there was a story about someone wearing a Santa beard robbing a salon in Bridgeport. Well, another costumed robber has struck, but it wasn't Santa this time.

According to the News Times, a People's Bank in Hamden was robbed by someone wearing a ninja costume. Capt. Ronald Smith said that the white male was wearing a "ninja-type outfit" when he robbed the bank.

The robbery happened on Saturday morning. The man walked up to the service desk and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

He fled on foot on the Farmington Canal Trail where police believe he got into a car. They described the car as a Honda, which was seen driving away from the area at a high rate of speed.
