According to an article in the New York Daily News, a day after ISIS sent a threatening video of different images in NYC, residents were more defiant than afraid.

Shawn Ellis, who works for TGI Fridays in Times Square, one of the locations singled out in the ISIS video told the Daily News, "That doesn't bother me at all. We all gotta die someday." The Gap on West 34th Street, another location singled out on the video, saw a steady stream of shoppers throughout the day.

Even NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio and Police Commissioner, Bill Bratton left defiant messages reacting to the threatening ISIS video that said, "New York is open for business and don't let the terrorists tell you any different!" Bratton also said there has been no direct threat from ISIS.

Other New Yorkers commented, "I think they're just bluffing" and "If something does happen, it's going to be the last place you'd expect it."

Mayor DeBlasio added, "If our society shuts down, the terrorists have won without ever coming here in any force and we're not going to allow them to win."

If the terrorists sent a threatening video to where you live showing a bunch of images in your town or city, how would you react? Would you react like many New Yorkers did or freak out?!
