My Wife Was Going Through Old Photos and Found This Gem From My Early Days in Radio

This is a picture of me and my buddy Matt Carey back when we were the young guys in the building.  We were doing radio by day and acting like hooligans by night.  

Wow this was my first full time gig in radio.  i was the night guy on Y-105 a station that is no longer around and Matt was our Promotions Director.

You see back then I was single, had no kids, was in shape, working hard, had some money and everybody loved me.......I don't know what happened.  Don't you hate looking at pictures of when you were young, in shape and had little to no responsibility?  I sure do.

I remember this event.  It was some sort of listener appreciation party at 3 oaks, Cappelaro's Grove.  I don't remember what happened later that night except that in a drunken stupor I stole a muffin from a diner we had just ate at.  Good times.

By the way that is how Matt smiles in all of his pictures, ,it's quite terrifying really.  His father has the same smile in all his photos too.  Well those were the good ole' days.

Now we are both married with kids, we have debt and bellies.  Oh well.  At least I can say we had fun.
