Meet New York Mets World Series Champion..Bud Harrelson
The longest tenured team in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, the Danbury Westerners, present their 21st Annual Celebrity Breakfast on June 5th at the Amber Room Colonnade. The Westerners are proud to announce that former All Star shortstop for the New York Mets, Bud Harrelson will be the keynote speaker.
Buddy played 16 seasons in the majors with the Mets('65-'77), the Phillies('78-'79), and the Texas Rangers.('80) He was a two time all-star and gold glove winner and was an integral member of the World Champion Mets in 1969 and the National League Champion Mets in 1973 where he started every post season game.
