We are lending our support to raise awareness about the ongoing struggle with Mental Health issues. During Mental Health Awareness Month, you can do just that, while grabbing a great read. Time to curl up with some awesome books for a great cause.

The struggle is real, and the loss is overwhelming. My friend, Denise Milano Sprung, knows first hand the devastation of suicide, and you can read her brother Keith's story at KeithMilano.org. From loss comes hope in the form of  The 4th Annual Mental Health Awareness Month Book Fundraiser benefiting the Keith Milano Memorial Fund.

In turn, The Keith Milano Memorial Fund benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).  AFSP is the only national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research and education, and to reaching out to people with mood disorders and those affected by suicide.

So, let's read! During the month of May, over 25 authors are donating a portion of May sales and over 40 authors have donated items to an online auction. All to benefit the fund.

The online auction of autographed books and more is huge and can be found here.

The Keith Milano Memorial Fund was established to help raise awareness about the devastating and deadly disease that is mental illness. Keith often struggled with society’s perception of mental illness. The foundation's hope is that by having the strength to say that Keith was “Bipolar” we can strip away the stigma and help others to be more open about their disease.
