‘Little House on the Prairie’ Cast Reunion Coming to Connecticut

The cast of one of the most iconic family television shows of all time is hitting the road to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2024, and one of those stops includes Connecticut.

If you were near any television set in the United States of America between 1974 and 1983, chances are you watched Little House on the Prairie. It was a beautiful American Western drama about the life and times of the Ingalls family of Minnesota circa 1870. The show ran for 9 seasons, over 204+ episodes and specials. The King of 70's & 80's family television, Michael Landon, his Highway to Heaven co-star Victor French, and Melissa Gilbert.

Today, 50 years after most of us fell into a peaceful daze as that familiar theme song for the first time, quite a few of the surviving cast members of Little House on the Prairie are hitting the road across America for a 50th Anniversary cast reunion, Q&A, and meet & greet events. One of the first just occurred last weekend in California, here's a video of Melissa Gilbert's entrance into the Q&A.

Hitch up the wagon Connecticut, the Little House on the Prairie 50th Anniversary cast reunion is coming to Hartford August 31-September 1, 2024. The event will take place at the Connecticut Convention Center on Columbus Boulevard, and will help raise funds and awareness for Kids Play Children's Museum in my hometown of Torrington.

Over 20+ former cast members and guests are scheduled to appear, including Laura Ingalls herself - Melissa Gilbert, Michael Langdon and Victor French's children, many more who will be familiar to fans of the show.
