Late-Night Surprise: Conan O'Brien's Pizza Visit in New Haven

Late night legend Conan O'Brien was in New Haven recently.

O'Brien dropped in on New Haven pizza giant Modern apizza on Tuesday. We learned of the appearance thanks to a simple Instagram Post from Modern that featured this picture and the words: "Special guest in the house tonight!"

According to NBC CT, it is not the first time Conan has "attempted" to get his pie in New Haven. A Tuesday NBC report says:

"Last year, nearby Sally's Apizza was booked out when O'Brien tried to make an appearance and order some pizza. The manager working that day turned him away and a year later, she got the chance to redeem herself. This time, though, he visited Modern Apizza."

I think that says a lot about Conan as a person, he could have easily crossed New Haven off the list of places to ever go.
