Just a few days left in the month of March - National Kidney Month. Kidney disease, though, doesn't follow a calendar. Any day is a good day to be more informed about a disease that counts Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Alonzo Mourning, and the late Natalie Cole, to name just a few, among it's ranks.

Even though National Kidney Month is entering its last week today, the American Association of Kidney Patients has been helping people ward off kidney disease, as well as, getting fully educated about all types of kidney disease.

The American Kidney Fund has been hard at work too, encouraging kidney health this month through kidney action days with free health screenings in select cities across the country. You can learn more about everything the American Kidney Fund offers at KidneyFund.org.

Being more in tune with your body, and aware of all the ways kidney disease can affect you is key every day.
