For as long as I've worked here we have had a snow storm tradition.  We stay at the hotel down the street and eat dinner at "The Golden Leaf" Chinese restaurant.

Last night was no different.  It was Ethan, Pam, my girlfriend and myself.  There's nothing quite like it.  It's always the same and yet always different.  It really depends on your company.  Last night was all new and yet familiar to me.

The four of us played tunes on the jukebox and I tried to get Ethan and Pam to dance and to kiss me.  "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant kicked off the long set of rock and the food was delicious.

Years ago, I stayed in the hotel with Matt Carey and Tom Bass. Yes count em' three!  I was low man on the totem pole, so I slept on a cot while the Bassman snored like a tranquilized bear and made us shut the TV off at 11 pm on the dot. It was brutal.

After Bassman left and Tim Sheehan returned he and Matt and I would have liquid lunches there during snow storms. One night I tried to hook up with one of our receptionists after dinner there.

AH yes the good ole' days.

The Golden Leaf never changes on the outside or the inside and there is something to be said for that.
