It is About to Get Butt Cold in Connecticut

Do you feel that?  Can you sense it?  The impending doom that fall and winter bring?  It's a coming and there is nothing we can do about it. 

According to the News Times, the National Weather Service is calling for the coldest temperatures of the season and an overnight low of 32 degrees on Saturday. The temperature decline is supposed to start tomorrow and steadily decline leading up to the weekend.

It gets worse. They say by Sunday we are looking at high's only in the upper 40's or lower 50's.

This is terrible news, I know.  Especially after the amazing summer we all enjoyed it is going to be like a cold smack in the face. We already know that the projections from the Weather Service and the Farmer's Almanac are looking really bad for winter, but if we have a brutal fall leading us into that then this is going to feel like a very long end of year.

I guess all we can do is THINK warm and pray that the experts got it wrong. Buckle up knuckleheads. THIS IS GOING TO SUCK.

I'll just have to remind myself that this exists and a few short months ago I was smack dab in the middle of it and just look forward to going back next year.

Man that just hurts to look at now.
