The problem with the MVP debate is always wording and semantics.  This kid is the best the NBA has this year, and that is it.

The debate is always about wording. Most Valuable Player people will say. That leaves a lot of questions. Most valuable dollar wise?  Most valuable to his team?  What would happen if they removed so and so from that team ... blah blah blah.

They should change the wording to the NBA's best player so that those debates can stop.

Fact is this kid is the best basketball player in the world right now.

Not only that but he is likeable. Just cocky enough to be cool and just humble enough to be the hero not the villain. His stature helps too. He's not small by any stretch of the imagination in real life, but in pro sports he's not big.

Lebron's freakish "Hulk" like physique, his Homer Simpson hair, stupid sweatband and terrible PR decisions make him an A1 certified nipple head. I hate him and he stinks.

Steph Curry's story is cool too.  His dad was a long time NBA player.  His name was Del Curry and for the most part was a career set shot 3 point expert who played most of his career for the Charlotte Hornets.  Whenever, I played a serious NBA Live game on Sega Genesis I would always use the Hornets because I knew Del Curry had ice in his veins when the game was on the line.

This kid can lay basketball.  He can shoot, drive the lane, pass, steal, rebound for a wee little thing and makes his teammates better.  He is exciting to watch as a fan and student of the game.

P.S. - Dick Moore taught me everything I needed to know about hoops.  "Just have fun."
