I Love the 90’s – MUSIC – Pt. 4 – Goo Goo

So the guys here at the station argue with me all the time that the 90′s was one of the worst decades for music.  I disagree!

This decade did not have the same prolific artists of the 60′s, 70′s or 80′s and was also the birth of the boy band but what we lacked in consistency we made up for in a huge catalogue of genius 1 hit wonder songs from rock bands.  I’m not even saying that to be comical.  Most of the bands I will highlight had only one hit but these hits would overstep the #1 singles on most of the albums of bands from different decades.  Here is a great example:  The Goo Goo Dolls.  Yep, laugh if you want but there songs are and were hits.  You sang along, you made a girl a mix tape with these songs on it and Johnny can straight up write songs!  DIG IT! :
